More Than Three Decades of ServiceThe Aria Health Foundation was created in 1973 to raise and manage funds to support Aria Health's programs, facilities and patients. Today, more than three decades later, that mission remains unchanged.
In the early 1970s, the idea was raised to create a non-profit foundation that would be completely independent of Aria Health but whose sole purpose would be to raise and manage charitable donations for the hospital. The result was the Aria Health Foundation.
Over the ensuing three decades, the Foundation succeeded beyond all expectations, raising and managing millions of dollars. Since 1999 alone the Foundation has provided over $30 million to expand Cardiac Care and Emergency Room services, upgrade patient care technology and add 51 beds to the hospital.
The Aria Health Foundation is managed by an all-volunteer Board that is made up of a diverse group of community leaders. These Board members govern the Foundation and act as stewards of all donated funds. To view profiles of each member of the Aria Health Foundation Board of Trustees click here. |
"I wanted to be a nurse for as long as I can remember, but tuition was so expensive. Financial assistance can really help students live out their life-long dreams.”
